This beautiful robe à la française was first seen in the 1999 mini-series Aristocrats on Geraldine Sommerville as Lady Emily Lennox. It was seen again in 2001 in Brotherhood of the Wolf on Emilie Dequenne as Marianne de Morangais. In 2006 it was seen on Shirley Henderson as Sophie in Marie Antoinette, and then on Sophia Myles as Madame du Pompadour in the Doctor Who episode The Girl in the Fireplace. It makes its fifth appearance on Sue Perkins in The Supersizers Go: French Revolution in 2009 and most recently was seen on Martha Howe-Douglas as a courtier of the English court in a 2012 episode of Horrible Histories.
